Thanks for that - maybe we will try and pack the caravan weight differently next time, or maybe we will tow with the Civic - we get around 35mpg towing with that. Civic is no good for the green lanes tho!!

Your fuel economy sounds good to me - in our 95 Disco 300TDI we get an average of 23mpg off-roading and running around and when we pulled our caravan at the weekend (1000kg) we only got 17mpg! we were only doing a max of 55 - 60 as well! :crazy_driver:

Thanks for that, we did have to fit a replacement ECU to get the central locking to work, so it sounds like we will need to have our existing fobs programmed then - we will look into the contact you have recommended. Thanks for your help.

Hi, we have tried the above several times, but it doesn't seem to work for us. The LED indicator on the dash doesn't flash and the indicators don't flash - does it matter that ours is a single blipper not a double? We tried it with both of our keyfobs and get the same problem each time...

Yet another update ..... we have central locking working as well now!! - replacement central locking ECU purchased from Ebay £9.95 - fitted it and worked straight away. Just need to sinc the keyfobs now, gonna sort that tomorrow. Then.... out to find some mud.
