just want to add went to the car about a hour ago 6:30 pm been sat from 6:30pm tuesday and started first time. but when i put the key in the car to start the fan/heater went on to one but i made sure that the fan/heater was off ?

all help is great and this is just the start of my probs. what i will say is that i do not have new lights , the battery is what the comp at the car shop came up with when i put my reg in but will look at it just to see in the morn, but has been ok for a year but has been jumped lots of times ...

hi been some time, but the car has run great. today went out to car and the battery was flat, ok but its had a new battery about a year ago. it also had some work to the havak fan, but when i jump its ok for days but today the heater was poor very poor any help woud be great.

Hi I see what you mean but do you think that a new stat will work, is there a way to test the elec wires that send the sig to the stat and at what time should it open

Ok thanks for the help but I will have to pay£80 for a new one,and what if it don't open agian or do yo think this was down to the water leak and the rad that it did not open. And why now I have put new rad in it has it only just doing bad mpg , was the old rad naf and full of much that it did...
