    Problem solved, Craddock sent me a boss adaptor for a Defender. They sent me the correct adaptor (part# JC518 for a SIII) and it slipped on with no trouble.

    I was trying to put my new Mountney steering wheel on today, and the boss kit that came with it doesn't seem to want to fit on my steering column.
