Does the wobble occure if you coast with the clutch in...and the engine is at idle...I'm thinking engine mounts possible prob...just an idea

I had the same proplem with my old Golf. Take your 90 to a decent garage and get them to write a letter to your insurance comp' confirming the immob is fitted they excepted this in my case. worth asking the question first though!! M
