I put frewheeling hubs on my SII and they didn't make any difference at all. Which the exception of having to get out in the rain to engage them. In the end I just left them on all the time. I wouldn't bother with them even if you could fit them.

Thanks all - The only little problem now is that the bonnet mounting kits appear to be for pressed steel OE wheels and I've put some aftermarket Firestyle Alloys on which are deeper at the centre than the steel rims - any idea if the kit would work with them? Thanks

I just fitted lap belts but I would imagae the process would be the same. It's really just a case of locating the legal strong point to anchor from and fixing a decent bracket to them. I think I bougnt the bracket from B&Q or somewhere like that

You're right I don't have a pronblem with the warning light coming on, it's just that after a few weeks the battery begins to sound a bit tired so I take it out and put it on the charger. I assume that by adding more lighting this will only increase in frequency. As to bolting on a higher rated...
