I'd add to that. is it worth giving them the old shock treatment (short sharp tap with a hammer and punch) to free them off.

Would anyone happen to know the EXACT size of the bolts which hold the bias plate. It seems to be somewhere btwn 13/32ths and 7/16ths / 11mm, or just to be really awkward is it a BA size. Thanks,Jimmy.

All sounds good to me, I did the job yesterday and knotted the vacuum pipe but can't find mention anywhere of the lead that plugged into the egr unit so I've just tucked it away and crossed fingers.

thanks but rear brakes (pistons,callipers etc) were also done.

just looked in manual and says it is a regulator for the rear brakes. does anyone know if a faulty one (rear brakes pressure regulator) can have adverse affect on front brakes only I'm off to Cornwall in two weeks so getting pretty desperate.
