I believe that the brake light switch on my 02 td4 freelander may be faulty, can anyone tell me how to locate the switch?? Do I need to remove the entire facia, including the steering wheel to get access to it??

Got it sorted!!!:D I had dropped it in for a job to be done prior to the NCT/MOT. It appears that someone in the garage had replaced one of the rear lower brake bulbs (why I don't know becaues it was working:confused: ), but he had replaced the bulb with a bulb with a single filiment and it...

All the rear brake lights on my 2002 Freelander TD4 are all staying on, even when the brake pedal isn't pressed. Has anyone come accross this before??:confused:

I had some work done on my TD4 recently whoch involved removing the battery as a result the digital clock was reset. There are only two buttons on the front of the clock one marked "H" for Hours and the other "M" for minutes, but pressing down the buttons does not rest the time. Am I doing...

Just wondering what websites people would advise for getting those little odd bits and pieces? Presently I'm looking for a replacement cover for the reading light in the front and a replacement interior roof handle for the rear LHS.:confused::confused:

I sometimes get this problem too, what I find is that if I push the door shut so that the Rear window rises , ensuring that the glassis within the slot at the top of the door ,so that there is no pressure on the glass itself, then push the door a little nuge again and it locks. Low tech, I know...

Guys, does anyone know how to remove the boot roller cover from a Freelander Stationwagon TD4??? I don't have the original manual and can't find it in the Haynes manual:doh: A little help.........please!!! :o

Success!! It turns out it was an ECU that was causing the issue. Once it was replaced and encoded, the light worked. The problem also affected the central locking, once the ECU was replaced it was lights on nad doors locking!!! ;)

I have a 2002 Freelander TD4, the interior light works but only when I uses the buttons to turn it on and off. Does anyone know why the interior light doesn't come on when I open the door or is it even possible?? :confused: :confused:
