Thanks Gents looks like you might be right. There is a small leak on the supply (port 6 ) to the tank. Might this pipe be 6m? Also the compressor piston seal has a small tear, could this be enough to stop it lifting? As it is now Sat pm I am stuck for places to shop from, are piston and...

Thanks guys will try the leak route. But the pump does cut out when the tank is full. If I had a big leak would the pump not keep pumping? and If I had a small leak would the car still not try to lift?? or have I got it wrong :confused: Cheers Paul
