As markomate2 said "Also LR will probably tell you "your injectors are toast buy new ones"!". Yep they've come back and said after testing that all five are knackered. Could the previous owner have made the injector clearances to small when he was working on it? Could this damage the injectors...

It just stopped after an hour. Not sure about the restart. When I say LR I mean an LR dealership with a repair centre about an hour from here. Problem with being in the middle of no-where is the local help is generic. The nearest English LR mechanic is about 4.5 hours away.

Hmm, they reckon it's the fuel pump. It was only replaced last July (a bearmach part) by the previous owner. He fitted it not a garage, what's the chances of that failing so soon. Mind you he replaced the brake discs and callipers on one the rear wheels last year that cost me €300 to repair one...

H Hi bignose, the fuel tank is in the last quarter, not near the bottom no empty light, which does work. Battery ok, the ignition sequence works but it doesn't fire. It does seem to be fuel related. I'll go through the previous owners receipts and see if he did the filter. Cheers

They've hooked it up to a laptop and the dash looks like this. Also the auto m and s lights are flashing, can't be normal.

No lights, no noises and hi can hear a slight whine from the back. The pump was replaced last year.

Just driving my daughter to school and the engine stopped and the power steering went. Fortunately 25m from school so managed to coast over to the lay-by. All electrics ok, ignition ok but it won't start. Any thoughts? I live in France and am waiting for a recovery vehicle, it's ****ing down...
