    I stand corrected. I just now experienced the same fault when manually shifting, It seems under a specific rate of acceleration.

    I agree with the sleeve being the most difficult part of this service. I did finally get the replacement in, but it was not easy. I replaced the solenoids with new ZF units, new seals, new fluid and new 2 piece pan. (D3 V8 Petrol) Question...I still have the fault when shifting from 3 to 4...
