No screws under cop holders for mine. I've managed to get it far enough forward where I can slide the radio out 80% but still can't access the back for the plugs. I've put it all back together and accepted my bluetooth FM receiver is the best I'm going to get haha

Did you end up fixing it? My sunroof has been busted for a few years, sounds crunchy when button is pressed and leaks water. Suspecting the cog has degraded and broken and thus it can't fully close and seal so water is slowly getting in. Struggling to find a regulator/motor replacement so...

A fellow west yorkshiremen! I did get the arm rest/handbrake cover back a bit by taking those screws out but it still isn't enough room with the seats all the way back :( the armrest/handbrake cover only goes back so far because of the handbrake and its sliding cover being attached

Just tried getting to the back of the HU but got stuck at getting the centre console cover forward enough to give me enough room to slide the radio out and access the plugs. I loosened the arm chair and handbrake cover so I could move that back a little but it still was just short of enough room...

Long shot as this is very old post but I followed these steps and struggling for room to pull the radio out, the centre console won't come forward enough as the arm rest and handbrake cover is in the way
