Luckily I do access. this will be my third pump! Lesson learnt next one will be a genuine one

Hi everyone, I have a 2001 Defender 90 td5 and today I have just noticed I can hear the fuel pump running whilst I’m driving well particularly when stopped at a crossing ect. Is this normal never noticed before ? Any information would be really great full! Thanks in advance
