Well, that was easier than I thought. 15 minutes and all changed. Took longer to clean up the small amount of leaked brake fluid. Pump now comes on only every 3rd peddle press. Thanks all for the amazing advice.

Just an update on this. My mechanic had a look and determined that there was no issue and all seemed fine. Following on from the thread, I decided to purchase the accumulator and fit it myself. Looks easy enough.... However, it has arrived and maybe I'm missing something here. Am I to remove...

Ok. Just popped out to test Level half way between MAX and top of reservoir. Ignition on - Pump runs for 22 seconds then stops Level bang on the MAX line of the reservoir Pump runs on every brake peddle press.

Seems to pump to pressure normally. Never noticed the pump coming on on different pedal presses.

Not sure. I've driven it and it seems fine. I'll be driving tomorrow then taking it to the garage Tuesday night to be looked at. I'm not convinced it's leaking now. Just have to see what my mechanic says. I want him to install new bonnet cables anyway so he can certainly do that

No. Brake pads replaced again in 2023 at the last service. Brakes feel fine, not spongy in anyway.

Pump seems to be normal, certainly no longer than usual. Pretty sure it's not ATV based on where the fluid has dropped. It's run down the back of the Off Side front wheel arch, pretty much directly below the Brake Fluid reservoir. The ATF reservoir is front nearside of the engine. I did look...

Marjon AC hasn't worked since I bought the car 6 years ago. Drips looked like brake fluid but I can't be sure. It was such a small amount.

Here's a question. Last drive my P38 on Sunday. Left it parked on my driveway all week. Popped out to the drive Thursday to find a puddle of what looked like brake fluid based on where it was laying under the engine. I placed a metal tin under to catch the last few drips. Opened up the bonnet...

Ok I seem to have solved it... For now. Should have checked this first I guess but hindsight is a wonderful thing. The drivers side nozzle wasn't pushing out the same power and the pump was dying out every few minutes. After emptying the washer bottle and filling again, the problem persisted...
