Tried NPT, does not fit

Thanks for the replies guys, i have a silencer but am always on the lookout for cheaper replacements/spares.with shipping included to australia even the ebay offerings work out dear.have tried bsp fittings and they do not fit. Was actually looking to fit a hose to it to make it easy to check...
