I have a freelander 2 - when the engine is up to temp and I’m sitting in traffic when I come to a stop then go to move off the car jumps forward violently - anybody know why?

Hi I have a freelander 2 automatic - when the engine is up to temperature and if I’m in traffic and stationary once I take my foot off the brake the car jumps forward violently! Anyone know why?
