    Got the window to wind up by removing the casing on the motor and exposing the windings. Put a cordless drill on the centre shaft and having worked out which way to wind it I used the drill to spin the shaft and up went the window. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘

    All sorted. No idea what the problem is/was but having spent nearly all day dismantling,testing ,thread reading etc I decided just to put it all back together. Everything now works. Itโ€™s some kind of Freelander witchcraft ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

    I have already managed to get the door card off.The proclem is that the window has powered into the open position and i cant get it to go up.Is there a way of powering up the window mechanism using a seperate battery onto the rear of the motor.If so what terminals do I need to feed.
