Sadly both Allmakes and Britpart are owned by Border holdings so they are the only main aftermarket company out there with very little competition, I expect prices to rise, overall Bearmach was better quality but was forced to sell too cheap. I am starting to see a mix of Allmakes and Britpart...

Absolutely I have worked with these guys for 18 years and are absolutely gutted. So far they have offers for the stock only. I hope the successful buyer will launch a new company with all the stock unless Border are successful in which case there will be only one uk aftermarket parts company.

As an official Bearmach distributor, I am surprised that there is no mention of Bearmach closing this weekend anywhere, they have been looking for a buyer, but so far no look and it appears they will close this Friday permanently might be last chance to buy parts from them
