Hi all I have a 1999 Freelander XEi and the head gasket has been repaired, and the thermostat mod. fitted, now the engine runs fine except, after the car warms up the top radiator hose is very hot, and the bottom one very cold, as is the radiator. I am worried that if I continue to drive it...

Hi I had this problem and I found it was the small wire on the end of the solanoid, the push on connector had rusted and causing a bad connection, all I did was to cut off the old connector and crimp on a new one no futher problems, starts first time, hope this helps.
