Coil conversion - What was I thinking. New pump and 4 new bags and I'm all good

We travel to Ireland quite a bit as we visit my wifes family. Free transport across the water.

Coil conversion - What was I thinking. New pump and 4 new bags and I'm all good

I bought the Dunlop bags for £260 including the fixing kit and postage. Good value when you see what main dealers want.

Unfortunately yes. Its just inside the zone. £8 per day. Far more reasonable than Transport for London who want £300 per day for me to drive my car transporter into London.

Its silver sparkle. Surprisingly close to original. Centre caps are original and a good match.

OK I've got 4 lovely lovely refurbished Hurricane alloys, centre caps and new wheel nuts. Add to the fact they have 4 new tyres, I've spent a few quid getting the RR back to original. Owner of a VW T5 was waiting for his car to have 2 new tyres and showed an interest in the L322 alloys with...

Tyres and wheels being fitted today. Ill post up pictures later. This is the 5th set I've had done there and the quality is remarkable. To get that price you must drop off the wheels totally free of tyres, valves and weights. 10 day turnaround which is no trouble considering the price. The fuel...

    Hurricane Alloys 1997 P38 2.5DSE

Finally dropped off the wheels at City Powder Coating in Birmingham. £100 for all 4 wheels in silver sparkle. Also dropped off a very solid fuel tank guard as mine is rotten. They will blast and coat it in black so it should last longer than the original. £60. I'll post up pictures next Friday...

I've just bought 5 Hurricane alloys wheels. They will be refurbished next week and have new road going tyres fitted. I'll keep the current wheels with off road tyres for next winter. I will need 5 centre caps and I see caps online 62mm, 63mm and 65mm. Whilst I can put a tape measure across the...

    Difficult removing roof bar

I have aquired a vast drill bit set. Will finish off the last bit of bolt head tomorrow and then should be off completely.

I hate them. Sold the light guards last week too. Not too keen on the side steps but there is a point at which I need to stop taking stuff off the vehicle.

    Difficult removing roof bar

I've been drilling but realised that the bolt goes right through to the plate on the other side of the roof bar. To get to the clamps holding the bar onto the roof you must remove the plate. The only solution I can see is to put an angle grinder to the plate and then undo the clamps.
