As far as I know that was tried there's been 5 mechanics looking at it and everyone of them would be classed as expert Land Rover mechanics and it has them all stumped it is driving us all mad because before it stopped without any warnings or problems it was running perfect and just died one morning

Did that even tried a new crank sensor

Yes

I will check today but mechanic said it was ok even tried a new starter motor to see if that would make any difference

That was done and a different ECU was fitted and programed still no joy
