Took this in for a little check over at my local garage today. Someone had told me I probably need a new chassis, but the local garage reckon I could get away with a half. Open to suggestions.

Tried a long socket and as much leverage as possible. I think I need some kind of solvent to loosen up 20 years of grime around them.

Anyone got any tips for tight Nuts on the starter motor? I need to check the solenoid but can't get the thing out.

Hey Landy Zone New here - currently working on a TD5 which has a bit of a starting issue. I reckon it's the solenoid, so ordered a new part. Will post vids and clips along the way
