so wots best stuff to run me td5 on then other then just over fookin priced derv

sounds to me like you got oil feeding back down the wiring to the ecu, check the plug's to the ecu if there's oil on them you'll need to change the wiring loom the the injucters under the rocker cover, i had this problem on my td5 & the guy at the garage told me that it was only running on 4 out...

right i've seen yer answers guy's an i don't think i'll use the fookin waxoyl then anyway ta.

ok thanks for yer help, only had the disco for a month but want to keep her in good nic so plan to clean & protect from the start.

this may sound daft but what's the best way to put waxoyl on, can you spray it or do you have to brush the stuff on :confused:

does anyone know of any other reason for the gear box on my disco II td5 (2004) to go tight on the gear stick after long journey on the m/way other than lack of oil
