They said the bottom end bearing had gone which is creating the noise and its worn a space which means if replace could end up with the noise again shortly afterwards

Hi everyone I put a post up the other day about the tapping in the engine, the garage has come back and said the bottom end bearing has gone. Do you know of this is something that can be rectified or is it best just to replace the engine?
