    Rear seats on an sIII

Thanks Grippa....some useful tips though most posts referred to kids under 2...something i'm trying to put behind me...mine are 12 and 9, ..seems safest options are to spend £900 with exmoor or stumble across a minibus and 'borrow' a couple.

    Rear seats on an sIII

Apologies if this has been covered before (i did search - nowt) but the kids would like some rear seats. Should i go for the standard bench seat or invest in the high-backed inward facing (possibly folding) individual sort? Any advice most welcome and tips re fitting even more so. BTW never had...

    Series 3 convertible questions

Thanks for the advice guys...especially the reminder to wack some beers in the back. On another forum (i didnt post anything, honest) it was being suggested that a side opening tailgate was easier to fit and less annoying than a drop down one if you weren't gonna be carrying long loads. Any...

    Looking for my first Landie

Land Rover Series 3/Overdrive on eBay, also, Land Rover Range Rover, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 23-Mar-08 13:59:36 GMT) This looks like it will go for under a grand, mechanical bits attended to and a nice project for internal/external redec. It looks a bit 'wonky' on the head on shot...

However I do have a full rear door. How easy is it to replace (temporarily) this with a stable door, or just a half door for...

Newbie Landy Owner, anything I should know?

Thanks redhand...very clear, if not as simple as i'd hoped. Already looking forward to losing traction and fighting with knobs and levers as i shout at the wife to find the piece of paper :)

So mid fifties is a good limit then? On the question of Red levers and yellow knobs would i be right that in practice you use 2WD high or 4WD low...in which case, leave the yellow knob UP and just select Red lever forward or back. [bet its not that simple ]

Newbie Landy Owner, anything I should know?

Having just picked up my first Landy - 88" Series 3 [had to drive from gatwick to North Dorset last night!] this thread was welcome and the last post from michael was a cracker. I drove 150 miles never going over 52mph as the seller advised. [does not have overdrive] Is this a sensible limit for...
