All sorted, so took the rocker cover back off and injectors out, oil all over. new seals and washers again, change of oil and filter and now running spot on. seems the first lot of seals fitted seem to have been no good and actually worse than the originals or nicked when been put in I have no...

So injector seals and washers changed and still no difference.

Initially I was drawn to electrical, but when it cuts out non of the electrics go and as soon as you stop and turn the key the fuel pump is going. It does it at any speed and any RPM wether smooth or not. Baz.

just at a loss at the moment, I thought if it was drawing air in it would be all the time, it’s like it flicks a switch, normally on a bloody roundabout or a main road lol.

Sorry forgot to say, plugged in and no codes. very slight bit of oil in the corner of the red plug. swapped the head light wash and fuel pump relay. I have washers and seals for the injectors as that looks like possibly the next job. baz

ye all terminals, fuses and relays. When It cuts out it turns over fine straight away but will take up to 5 minutes on and off to start again. baz

Afternoon all, new to the forum and looking for some pointers to a problem with the disco. 2004 TD5 was running great and then one morning it was turning and took about 5 mins to start. Once started it would run fine and then it would just cut out, this could be 10 minutes / 20 minutes or not...
