The inserts should fit in the sleeves around the window, two vertical and one horizontal above the window.

Can anyone advise? I disposed of my old (rotten) hood before installing the new one. I went to put it on this weekend and the aluminium inserts that go in the hood are missing (you can guess where the old ones are!). Exmoor advise me these are part of the hoop set and its now going to cost me...

Should have probably performed more research before ordering a replacement from Exmoor. Shall treat this one as advised in this thread and hopefully avoid a similar conversation in 3yrs!!

Agree, I was very disappointed with the response recieved. I shall follow your advice on care (somewhat lacking from Exmoor), but to be honest I don't have a great degree of confidence in the new hood. Just wanted to make others aware as £300 plus every 3 years is not something we should live...

Curious response, but hey, myself and my dog loved the coast walk whilst the family were busy with friends

I cannot think of a vehicle that would be more fitting than a landy

She has a tracker fitted, i have a steering lock and am looking now at an alarm. Will get some Pics of her scars - all adds to the character!

Thanks Hippo, have fitted a tracker but also investing in other security - such a shame we have to do this, until recently we could simply hop in and out without all the checks

Hi, this is the hood on the landy a week before I tried to clean it and began to fail. Following installation, I did nothing further to protect the hood other than cleaning with water (as advised within care guidance), no treatments were used.
