one of the sites i used was horizons unlimited lot of information and good links, although a bike site mainly. I travelled down on a bike, hard work but enjoyable. I am going in a landy next year!

thank you for positive solution, I live in west africa for 10 years and saw many vehicles with front wheel carriers, military land rovers as well.

this old fella does not like all that work with levers and things, can i ask grunt to send some photo's of side carriers

Has anyone fitted a spare wheel to the front of a defender? being an old fella, do not ant to be putting wheel on the roof rack. Travelling to SA and beyond so want to take two spares. Also have step type toe vbar on rear , who makes a tow bar to fit??:rolleyes:
