Press the brake pedal

Has anyone had this problem? The brake lights work on my 1996 90 BUT only if the rear lights are on.....

Hi. I have used the Landyzone site quite a bit for tips and thought it was about time I joined. I have a 1996 TD4 that needs some TLC and a 2008 Puma that is partly TLC'd. I don't have and other car. My mates think I am mad. I think they are missing the point! Anyway, it's great to have a forum...
