Yeah that’s what I thought as the top straps do flex the door slightly. I’ll attach those to the wheel carrier. Was just worried about my nice bike flying off down the road
I’ve got this universal bike rack from Halfords that I had gathering dust in the garage. I have a swing away spare tyre holder, Will this be okay to take the weight of my bike plus 2 kids. ?? Anyone done the same, don’t want to have to spend £££ on new one if don’t need to.

Hi everyone, my 1991 has had a td5 engine put in it at some pointy and a discovery transfer box. Is this a good set up? Also would they have changed the gearbox? How would I know? Sorry very new to LR,
First ever Land Rover, always had old air cooled Vw a weekend toy. This has a td5 engine with a disco transfer box fitted, don’t know much more about it. Td5 engine has approx 145000 miles on, don’t know how long these engines last.
