The real way to distinguish a series 2 from a series 2a is a lot simpler than any of that,,,,if it’s a real series 2 it will have a 9 digit chassis number starting with a 1 and the 4th digit in depicts the age,,,a later series 2a will have a 8 digit number starting with a 2.
