I am going to change the oil and filter and get a dip stick fitted. Jobs for next week. Will the message on the dash need a reset of some sort.

Hi every one, i have a 1999 Range Rover p38. 4.6 hse auto. It as a few problems but nothing much except every time put the key in and start it it says gearbox over heat. As the car gets wormier the selector get harder to move. any ideas. apart from that all is good. Thanks H
