The old one was on the back door, I’ve chopped the back off the car to make into a pickup. Just bought an aftermarket LED stop light off eBay, put some spade connectors on it and plugged it into where the old connectors for the stop light are.

Have literally unplugged the original and replaced with the LED, haven’t touched anything else. The other brake lights work as normal. completed stumped

So I have spoken with the diagnostics people. They are going to use testbook so that the immobiliser is turned off with the key. They told me they copied the original BCU across to the new unit, therefore the EKA is what they are saying. All I can think is that the car thinks a door or maybe...

I literally just got the BCU back on Tuesday from Turner who gave me a print out with EKA code

I have just looked and the red and black cables that run into the RF unit are just hanging out not going to anything also. Very annoying.

It’s not giving the two beeps to say it’s accepted, only one which from the USer manual says is not accepted.

No matter how many times I try the EKA it won’t work?? if the rear door harnesses are unplugged does the car assume the doors are open? really appreciate the help

I have replaced the RF unit but don't get any signal that it is communicating with the keys. I have read about the secondary alarm battery behind the interior above the Drivers side back wheel. I don't remember removing this from where its situated next to the Fuel Cap actuator.

Hey people, need a bit of help. I have carried out a pickup conversion on my D2. Everything was fine until my battery died and I think it’s superlocked. I’ve got my EKA code but it doesn’t seem to work. Is there anyone locally with a nanocom who might be able to help???? pretty please!!!

Just a quick one, its kind of in the same ball park. Could you theoretically remove the rear windscreen cables and use them to power an led light. Electrics is not my strong point but am I right in assuming that one cable is + and one is - and so I could just plug it straight in?
