Having trouble getting my 4.0 p38 through the mot because of the emissions. Its a 96, and so far we have changed the air filter, sparks and leads. Is there anything on these that tends to help with this??

Hi, yesterday the idle on my p48 4.0 96 suddenly went up to 1500rpm. When in D its normal, but as soon as I put it in P or N it goes up - any idea?

i see. I think then what I will do is use the iso power to power my alpine head unit, then install s sub and 6x9's and power them using the outputs at the rear of the head unit . Will probably be the easiest thing I think?

hmmm. .. confused now. so does that mean that the cables are NOT ISO plugs?

My P38 has the Harmon kardon speakers, and no stereo. However it appears to have two iso connectors, these seem to come straight from the wiring loom and dont appear to have been added later. Am I right, or is a different adaptor needed too?

Update on this one - I went out on a run with it just now and the heater was working as it should....??? Another thing, the display on the heater control lcd thing is pretty much unreadable, very dull, some digits not coming up etc - are these easily replaced? Also there is a book! symbol...

Finally got my landie back on the road after a few weeks with the points going. Running fine, come to go out in it today and I put it in gear, and it gets stuck! Cant move the gearstick either with the clutch in or out, clutch is still operating, but I seem to be stuck in 3rd gear.. HELP!!!
