As far as I know there are no pattern parts on mine, except the fuel pump which is electric and unknown make. Its being replaced anyway and I can't remember what brand the new one is... This situation will increase as more parts go on but I do have some original stuff in spares.

Thanks - it does seem to be going away now but I thought my head was going to explode yesterday. I suppose I've never really suffered from things over the years and felt as strong as an ox but its easy to forget that we don't remain invincible for ever - as we age we feel the same but the years...

Small world. I know the area quite well but had never been down that road before. The diversion was slower than via the A47 but about the same distance. The annoying thing was by the time I found the closure I had done 5 miles and had to go back to where I started to get onto the diversion.
