Thanks again all.. fuel pump sounds a bit rattly. Noticed whilst pumping tyres up.. need to plug this OBD2 thing in when I can locate where to plug it in LOL
Bizarrely, been out today and no warning light? Ah well perhaps ROY just didnt like the cold.. Still got the OBD2 reader on order as seems like a worthwhile investment anyway...
Starts fine, drives fine, no smoke I can see other than on start up from cold.. Appreciate easiest way is to get it plugged into a Diagnostic Machine, but wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar all, 2005 TD4 74,000 on the clock and FSH
The click can be heard from each sensor if you put your ear to it, but only when the ignition is at position 2 as in engine off and reverse selected. If no clicking then the sensor is not working..
Think I may know the answer to this already but jusy in case it may be simpler than that.
When I select reverse there is a long beep, light flashes on the button and then stops... Can't hear ticking noise from any of them?
Nothing else happens 55 plate, Td4
They just don't park.. stop wherever they are on the screen when you turn them off on intermittent, normal and fast. You can park them by tapping the stalk down though, but not ideal..
So driven it to Kent and back and across country down there.. love it. Only fly in the ointment was the windscreen wipers. Stopped working on intermittent, as in don't park, bit awkward as it was raining at the time..
Thank you ...Haha came with a private plate. Last owner was as you will have guessed was Roy. Unless I can persuade my son to name is new baby son Roy it will have to go on eBay
