Hi ... thanks for your reply ... and welcome much appreciated ... 35c here so I am using the air con ... I think the Viscus fan is "us" .I fixed a plate to the back of it and locked it up .... waiting for a replacement viscus clutch to get to me .... I found the wiring loom that powers the two...

300 TDI Auxillary fans not working !!!!

Gday to you all ... I have a Disco 1 300 TDI 1996 UK based en rout to Turkey ... Head gasket problem now fixed ... back on the road again BUT ... its 35c most days in Bulgaria and the two auxillary fans fitted to the front of the rad don't "cut in" or appear to work .... ( Viscus fan is ok ish...
