Similar fault on mine. It comes & goes so I've been told to ignore it until it becomes permanent.

Not been on here for some time, but just purchased Range Rover Westminster so figure I need to re-introduce myself.

Similar problem in that the seat sits back on the floor but the back only lifts about half way then sticks. Does anyone know what triggers the locking mechanism on the floor, is it triggered as you start to raise the back of the seat or what??? Cheers Ken

sorry was referring to shape a dealer told me to refer to it as td5 wen i was after some spares!! it's a disco 2 v8 4.0l.

initially there were faults indicating lambda sensors pre-cat, i had these replaced. then faults indicated post cat sensors i also had these replaced. fault now indicates adaptive mixture fault!! all new 2 me as a newcomer to the land rover club!!

UPDATE: installer now tells me he thinks there is a problem with the ecu itself!! states there is a company who could re-program / unblock the ecu itself!! anyone heard of this or know wot company carries out this re-programming?? cheers kenp:confused:
