Hi
I've been locked out my D2 for days now ((
I have the EKA code 49F4 which converted is 4954.
I've been through correct sequence of entering it via the drivers door and at the end, I get the single horn which means it has not been accepted. The battery is fully charged.
Any help out there...
Hi All
I've just bough an 06 RRS with 155k on the clock.
It's been extremely well cared for and the engine runs tight and sweet.
I'm taking her abroad on a 2k mile road trip so....what should I do to her before the journey?... what should I check or replace or even any preventative...
That's exactly how I've routed my wires. I'm now sitting in the boot figuring out whether to lift the carpet and look for the grommet or, feed the wires (somehow) into the slatted plastic vent on the right which hopefully should lead me to the right rear light cluster.
I've got the towbar with the electrics. Just can't seem to find an easier way to get both the video and live feeds from the boot to outside or at least the rear light cluster.
I know Brian said he took the feed over the rear arch and to the right rear light - how do you get to the rear light...
I've run the rear camera video wire from the head unit going behind the dash and under the carpet and into the back of my D2.
The head unit has 2 inputs for the reverse camera - One for the video input and the other for switching on the camera function as soon as reverse is selected.
The other...
Maybe there's an easier way but the head unit has a camera input.
Connecting it to the reverse lights switches on the camera and reverse camera mode on the head unit.
When the reverse lights are disengaged, the screen returns to normal.
Hi
I'm replaced my standard premium head unit on my 2003 D2 with a newer one so that I can use my microSD and USB music. It's got a built in monitor for a reversing camera.
I thought I'd have issues with the sound especially the amplifier and sub but the new system plugs in easily and actually...
But.... as I bought the tyres with the rims, I'll soon change to 275/55/20.... otherwise, the rims will get trashed...
I was considering 275/60/20.... any thoughts?
