My Freelander 1 (TD4 5-door) occasionally (perhaps 6 or 7 times in 4 years of ownership) lowers itself while the car is parked. IIRC it has always been overnight, usually in my own driveway but once in my work car park (at work for several days, don't ask) and most recently, parked on the street...
