HI what you need is a fine pile 4" roller I use harris varnish rollers,you have got to give them a good wash in clean water first to remove any loose pile and let them dry for 24hrs. If you have a bare ally you must give it a coat of etch primer first then a coat of undercoat and two or three...

Hi all changed my front poip uj's,but when i took it off the prop came in two,the only mark on the prop is on the tube no mark on the other. can anyone tel me the correct uj allignment (phasing). cheers celtic.

try the swivel pin pre-load,had the same with mine,ajusted pre-load and cured it.

yeh i was thinking along those lines,will take the disc into my tyre dealer and get the tyres checked and the wheels ballance again.

Hi all answer to some of the questions,it's manual,no i have not always had the vibration i will check the uj's for allignment.

I used plastic padding metal,cleaned the ball's of with acetone first,filled the pits rubbed them with 1200 wet and dry'jobs a good un.

my 1991 disco has developed a vibration for 40mph to 45mph,replaced all the uj's,replaced front output shaft bearing,checked the rear one all ok,had the wheels ballanced,still got the vib's. any one got an idea what could be causing it. cheers celtic.

Hi mate I had the same prob as you with a series 3 ,it was the ralco bushes on the swivels,changed them and all good.
