Hi all, I haven't been off-roading all that long, it's brilliant when the truck isn't breaking things but that's another story lol, I currently have 265/75/16 tyres on modula wheels on the truck at the moment but I'm wanted a more aggressive mud tyre so was looking at something like 285/75/16...

Yeah I know they're fairly tough and as a mechanic I check for anything mechanically wrong with it, I know it has its niggles but it's pretty solid, has all the diff and front steering guards, another question, will leaving it in diff lock for a whole off roading session cause excessive strain...

This is what I think I'll do, keep the disco stored until I fancy doing some Greenlaning and pay and plays, only thing I worry about is getting back from these places if the truck sustains damage along the way, but I always make sure it's ship shape and ready for an off roading session to give...
