    Disco 2 Oil light

I had to put in 1 litre which took it up to max. The oil is probably older than it should be but I will do some further investigation. Thanks for your help.

    Disco 2 Oil light

Driving my 2004 Discovery 2 down a slight incline at 40-mph on Saturday and the Oil light flashed on but extinguished almost immediately. I checked level and topped up with 5W30 Castrol Edge. Now the oil light goes out on startup immediately whether hot or cold but if I pull up sharply it will...

Ah that makes sense now thanks. Is there by any chance a table indicating what the current through the fuses should be?

    Disco 2 Nanocom 16-08

OK disconnected battery earth lead and put a meter between the lead and the battery terminal. It eventually settles to 0.08A. Not sure if this is an accurate reading. If I pull F13 I get 8mA is this too high? Do not really understand how you are measuring Voltage across a fuse?

    Disco 2 Nanocom 16-08

Thanks for the response. I didn't see how it could have anything to do with battery drain thanks for the reassurance. When I have to replace the hub I am tempted to go with the hub and sensor given the issues reported here. Rimmer list three After market £73 OEM £152 and (gulp!) genuine £479...

We return to use it two days later and the battery is completely flat. No radio or clock! Battery charged no warning lights but Nanocom reports 16-08 rear...

    Disco 2 Headlamp brackets

Can any one help me source a set of headlamp support brackets? Alternatively what is the part number? I had my lights stolen last night and in the process they broke the brackets. Thanks for any help.

    Disco 2 Quarterlight support repair

I have just replaced the nearside rear door lock in my 2004 Discovery and found the window frame has started to rust. The frames themselves appear to be unobtainable and it looks as if I could just get away with the support only. Is this available or is there a work around? I suspect the offside...
