Series 3 front seat retainer brackets part no.331818

Hi folks. Does any one know the actual size of these brackets, And where they fit at the front? They are rather expensive for a simple bracket and I like bending metal and drilling holes , so I was going to make some. Thickness/hole size/dimensions etc. Photo attached , the bracket is at the...

    Galv Bulkhead

It does look rough at those places. I would contact the supplier and voice your dissatisfaction. Send them photos. You could tidy it up yourself but that is not the point. They may offer a discount.

    Can I save my bulkhead

Hi, I did my first welding on the bulkhead. I was about 70 at the time. If you go down the welding route, make sure you have the bulkhead fitted on the chassis at all four mounting points. Then only remove one at a time to do your work before replacing. If you do it off the chassis then it may...

Hi all, Seat box not fitted yet, I was asking because I only found it again and started scratching my head but couldn't find any hair. Next job is lining up the new tub to the bulkhead then locating the oil leak which has strangely appeared. Cheers all.

HEATER BLOWER QUERY SERIES 3 1982,,,,,,,,,,UPDATE,,,,,,,,,

I have found a picture of the arrangement online, interesting. The fan was already removed when I took over the build. I just cleaned and painted it, there was no resistor there. I had to rebuild the heater matrix box,it was rotton although the radiator was fine. Any idea of the value (ohms) of...

Hi folks, As the header says. I have a 2 speed blower motor with one spade terminal and one earth lead coming out. I did not take it off so I am not 100 pc how it connects back. I connected both wires from the bulkhead to the spade and it works only at one speed. Swapping the wires around...
