Yes I was charged for the work that I asked them to do, which was replace the window regulator, they advised me that it didn't totally cure the problem and that it would need further investigation so they reduced the price which i paid.

I asked them to replace the door regulator (which they did) however because the window didn't fully close and requires further investigation I wasn't charged the full price of £160 incl VAT.
