Thank you Nodge68, a liberal does of silicone spray pointed past the spring to the top of the strut and some on the strut top nut and plate and bingo silent suspension. Give it a go Alibro Now I can hear the rest of the noises lol

Just a quick one, TD4 auto 55 plate has hit 70k , wheel up n turn test shows Viscous coupling seems OK. I've owned it for 4 months and It has a sketchy service record so was wondering if the VC could have been replaced already and does the VC have a date stamp on it. Thanks in advance

When i switch my Td4 auto's hdc on at a standstill and drive off the light flashes, is this right of should it be a constant light? If it should be constant, what could be the problem and how would I fix it? Thanks in anticipation

When i switch my 55 plate Freelander Td4 auto's hdc on at a standstil then move off slowly the warning light flashes. Can someone please tell me is this normal of should it be a solid light If this Is not normal what could be the problem and how do I fix it?

Yeah it's just to hold it but if you can't pull the plastic off thin plastic can be left on in some situations. I lost skin off my thumb getting my MAP sensor back into place on my TD4 without trying to get my plastic owf.
