Just an update , had the p38 to John Simmonds in Darwen for diagnostics, fault listed as injector needle lift sensor, will update when investigated further, wether its cable or the sensor itself

It was a conversion at new , the fan under the front left is not piped in, but it still had an electrical supply to it, that had switched, Heath Robinson has never been to this post code!

Problem sorted, the fan on the auto gearbox cooler was constantly running, pulling the system voltage down! The fan has been disconnected, because i have a manual gearbox and its not needed, head scratching over something simple, thanks for the advice folks

Evening folks, looking for advise, recent event history, Friday , driving home car at correct ride height, alarm on dashboard, EAS fault, turned into slow 35mph, used eas software repeatedly, all heights and pump fine, all the system was refurbished 12 months ago, the fault reset and I did 25...

Is there supposed to be a liner within the thrust bearing, because if it is not "snug"on the shaft it may be possible to pull the bearing through as it is off centre, struggling for ideas, on the ramp five weeks now, box in and out 3 times!

Thanks, new pins fit, and it failed this time without the hydraulics, it was moved with some grips whilst on the ramp, brand new clutch, bearing detached!!

any advice welcome, P38, after running 20-30 mins the hand book and exclamation mark come up on the lcd display, is this going to be a dash strip, or a simpler fix? already rebuilding the series 3 and trying to keep the missus' disco 1 going, obviously too much time on my hands! cheers.
