so gents battery off, new chassis welded in, wax oiled in and out, feeling very pleased. Battery on ,start up and flashing away CODE.. Radio code, put somewhere safe and now cannot find. What's the best plan, eBay or Landrover dealer or is there anyone on here....... Livin in hope. Cheers in...

Thank you all is sorted, removed r5 relay and disconnected battery. Reconnected battery and all is good

I bought this 04 disco 2 money pit over a year ago on coils and the problem started yesterday.... Great start to the year.

whilst driving , as soon as speed exceeds 20mph continuous warning chimes. I have tried removing relay R5 as now on springs but no joy. Started to do my head in. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Purged numerous times Diagnostic tool Autel, will not read at all. I have someone heading over in the couple of days with a different tool to see if that can diagnose anything.

Preheat plugs changed starts on the button but have been informed due to having the ECU remapped the fuel pump could be the problem , running lumpy and then runs ok. It was remapped nearly a year ago and was fine till preheater plug problem. Is this likely and if so can I get the fuel pump...

My disco was registered early 2004 and yes he did have problems reading at first.. So first things first check the ECU plug and injector harness. The glow plugs haven't been changed from new so as the dashboard preheat only stays on for a second or two will be the following job. Many thanks...

Went to park up, engine on 04discovery not sounding good, stalled, would not fire, just turning over. Finally started but was,looked and sounded as if running on 4.stalled once gear engaged... It was put on diagnostics and came up "road speed missing fault" code 96. Cleared fault, running fine...

While driving and at no particular point I get three warning chimes and then three Amber warning light come up on console T/C. Air suspension and ABS Help. Any ideas?
