And it's legal to use when driving ;) Absolutely, there will almost always be someone on the other end of CH.9 or CH.19 if you need help. There's not always a phone signal in the more remote areas. Again, perfectly legal to use whilst driving - big plus point.

Hi there!, I know this thread is quite old now, but if you're still looking around for a cheap CB radio, consider this. New CB radios are so cheap now: You can get a decent Midland or Thunderpole CB Radio with a mag-mount or gutter-mount Antenna for less than £70 brand-new with 12 months...
