I am not buying the auto box just the engine. The RR is an MOT failure due to rust it still drives and was in use up until the mot failure. The guy is away until tomorrow but will pass his details on to you once I have done the deal on the engine.

I am only going on what I have read on the web that the cam bearing shell is pressed into the block and the damage to the engine is done before the oil light comes on. If the shell has enlarged its hole in the block then there is no way to salvage the block. Got the info from a couple of places...

125k on the donor 118 on mine I had intended keeping it for spares or possibly restoring it if there is no damage to the block . To be honest I will make my mide up once I have run the donor for a while. I want to do a long tour next year and want the best selection of engine and parts.
