before I got the spanner for the job the fitter in my work hit it a crack with a hammer and chisel and it just spun off worth a go if your stuck

the pipe with the green connector is not very long it terminates at a push fit clip on the inside of the chassis leg the clips can sometimes be a pain to release due to some one at land rover I take it having it so tight to the chassis if you crawl under and look up at the drivers side...

I have one off a 52 plate facelift disco I replaced it for one with a diff lock the intermediate shaft seals are leaking but I have the seals here , and the seal where it attaches to the gear box is gubbed but I don't have one on the up side you can have it for free

I have a detachable platform mounted on my tow bar which holds two people when were out shooting, never had any problems off road slight grip loss going up a steep gradient but I don't have serious off road tyres fitted I am 18 stone and my friend is about 11 and the disco copes no bother
